Crazy: The Norm

You hear this quite a lot over time don't you?

"You're crazy!"

There was a time when people would mention this to me as if I'm some mentally insane patient, but the more I hear of these words the less value it brings and the more normal it feels. Like that horrible Christmas carol that your drunk Uncle (insert name here) keeps playing because it reminds him of the good old days.

You think about it over the course of your life when you have done or said something and that other person on the receiving end of your conversation will look at you aghast as if to say.

"Who the fuck are you?"

Well, sadly for your friend/partner/family member/pet cat the reality is there's not that much difference between yourself and whoever it is you are having a conversation with, the distinction is that you did something which they thought was pretty "gutsy" of you. No big deal really.

In all honesty we all have a little bit of crazy don't we?
