Time and Perspective

Hi,
If you don't know already welcome to my blogging page "The Lonely Writer". Ignore the title though I am far from sad, but from the perspective of a writer it is kind of a lonely task is it not?
Wondering what to write, staring directly into a blank screen can feel like the worst feeling and after you sink a few coffees (or beers) down your thoughts do wander off to moments in time where nostalgia and perspective intertwine to form a thought of the past. Perhaps that thought was something beautiful, your first great love or terrible when you betrayed someone who trusted you.
Perspective to me can be so interesting especially when we age and time mends your wounds, yet whispers about your past every now and again.
"Time...It's like a predator; it's stalking you. Oh, you can try and outrun it with doctors, medicines, new technologies. But in the end, time is going to hunt you down... and make the kill."
As the constant optimist though, Time has always been there for us. It was the first person there even before our birth, to the moment of our death. Our perception of time and how we use it is what defines us as individuals.
I'll leave you with those thoughts.
